Migraine Rapid: what is it and how does it work?
There is one question, which I am asked all the time. Is your manual migraine treatment the real deal? Does this Migraine Rapid work? My answer is positive, and here is an explanation why I am so sure.
Migraine is a very individual disease. It has as many faces as there are migraineurs. The set of symptoms and triggers is different for each person. It can present itself in a variety of forms from pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of spatial orientation and dizziness, and high sensitivity to light, sounds, smells and foods. It can also bring about irritability (dysphoria) or oppressed, depressed mood, agitation, drowsiness and slackness. I am a migraineur myself and have experienced lots of these. So, what is the standard treatment?
The most widely spread option is medication of different kinds. Its aim is to reduce pain and reaction to triggers. This means that medication combats symptoms, not the disease itself. Unfortunately, as migraineurs know, medication does not always even help with pain. Besides, it often has side effects and constant usage may lead to further problems with the medication.
Another option for combating migraine is manual treatments such as acupuncture and cranio- sacral therapy. Although they may be really useful for some people, they still remain more about improving your general state of health and deal mostly with muscles, joints, the spine, etc.
That is why, having experienced all that, I started to develop my own manual method 20 years ago. I wanted to work with the disease, not only its symptoms. As a result, I offer Migraine Rapid that focuses on treating the center of migraine – the central nervous system and the head as an important part of it. It is your brain that gives signals to your body to feel pain, nausea, hypersensitivity to light, and so on. Migraine Rapid is focused on fixing your ‘head’s nervous system’ (although this is medically incorrect to say ), making it relax and return to a normal state. So, how does it work?
When a patient comes to me for the first time, I interview him or her about their health status, previous types of treatments, medication usage and other diseases. We need to get a complete picture as there can be some contraindications. The next step is to examine the patient’s nervous system and musculoskeletal system. For that, I use palpation and movement tests. I fully inform the patient about the results of the examination and we discuss his or her treatment plan. It may be that the cure requires the help of a specialist in other medical fields (e.g. neurologist, osteopath). In such situations, we work in cooperation with these specialists.
Once the patient and I have agreed on the plan, the treatment starts. My technique during Migraine Rapid requires working mostly with your head, and also with your back. The main goal is to make your nervous system return to a normal status and for your brain to relax and stop giving wrong signals to your body. As a result, you get rid of pain and migraine attacks become rarer. In the long term, migraine pains become milder and you can cope with them more easily.
Patients end up not having migraine at all or having it very seldom. Another result is that migraine medication can be partially reduced or stopped completely. In non-chronic migraine cases positive results can be reached within 1-2 weeks of intensive care. Chronic cases need longer treatment, however positive results appear after 2 to 3 weeks.
Of course, you may still not believe me after all that I have said above. What else can I say to prove my words? Only this: I am a migraineur who wanted to overcome migraine and succeeded. I did it for myself and for lots of my patients. Yes, it took me about twenty years and thousands of test and treatments. But it was worth it as now I know that Migraine Rapid works and can help people to cope with migraine.
